Can anyone please explain in details the difference between Write(), Insert() and Update() methods on FormDataSource level and when they invoked ?

FormDataSource class doesn't have insert() and update() methods, only write(). Didn't you mean a table?

As i am getting from your above discussion, Write() method only calls Insert() and update() method nothing else ?
I thought that both I and AX documentation (referred from the old thread) were explicitly enough.
Yes, it calls either insert() or update().
