Custom Calculated Duration Field

Hi Rhipe Support,

I created a custom duration field where it does not include the travel duration. Like the main focus of the custom duration field is work duration only.

Below are the different formats that I tried.

I followed the steps provided here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customerengagement/on-premises/customize/define-calculated-fields?view=op-9-1

This is the Action that we set up.

However, the calculation worked in the 3 custom fields, but it did not include the .5 hours or 30 minutes work time.

The second issue is the field is showing minutes instead of hours.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Kimberly Claire Mata,

I was facing a similar issue when creating an application for the HR module. I had two input Date Time columns

    1. IN
    2. OUT

I created two Decimal type calculated columns to resolve this issue.

In the first column, I calculated the minutes

In the second column, I calculated the hours

I think you should need something similar.

Let me know if I can provide you with more details.

    Thanks

    Hi Kimberly Claire Mata,

I mean I have two Date time column input

    1. IN
    2. OUT

I need duration in terms of hours and minutes. I tried using the duration format but I was facing similar issues... As I explained in my last answer, I fulfilled my requirement with the decimal columns...
