How to create a machine as a resource to be used in PMA in D365 Finance

I think project management and accounting in D365 supports different types of resources but I am not able to create a project resource from either a machine or tool. I can create resource when it is HR type but other types are not working. Any assistance will be highly appreciated.

Hi Kumar,

I have found someone also asked before (see link below) but without answers, as I checked in this module, I knew that is impossible and there are no solution for machine or tool resources adding into PMA.

Add operational resources (Machines/ Tool) into Project resources list D365 Finance and Operations (dynamics.com)

The work around solution for this, you can create your machine resource according to worker as bellows:
