Hello,
Wondering why every time I export data from NAV 2013 R2 it results in a spreadsheet that is read-only? Is that an option I can change in NAV prior to export? If so I cannot find it.
Thanks!

Check the permission of user on the folder. This I have faced when I used to export data on shared folder where service account was having full permission. But user accessing was not having full permission. We gave full permission but still no luck. Later we removed all permission on folder and re re assigned wit replicate to child items and we succeeded. Sometime on parent folder it shows permission but don't replicate to child items. Please check once may this help you.
It is because the exported Excel data is presented as a table that is directly connected with the NAV database. When exporting from NAV, Excel creates you a certain type of data called TABLE. You are not able to easy modify the tables in Excel. Just press right mouse button on the data range in your Excel sheet and select modification from TABLE to normal range dataset, and you will be able to make manipulations.
Hi, i have the same problem with Nav 2015 using print & Send -> Excel.
How are you exporting data to excel ? by using print & Send - > Excel ?
