I have created a custom entity of CustInvoiceJour table, I added it into a data management project and perform export, it runs fine. Problem is when i re run it again , it fail and gives an error on event viewer saying "Could not generate export file... " . This happen every time and only thing i could do is to delete data project, create a new data project , adding same entity to it and run export and it runs fine.

Can anyone tell me what is the possible solution of this , why entity only runs successfully for the first time on export and failed afterward. Please help!!

Thanks

    Hi,

What is the target format for export? Are you using incremental exports?

Target format of export is set to "incremental" and I am using this entity entity to export data to our table in microsoft azue DB for BYOD purpose.

    HI,

As a start point I suggest you regenerate mapping (Data management -> Entity list -> Mapping target mapping -> Generate mapping), re-publish entity to BYOD and re-add entity to the data project.

There were issues with incremental export in the earlier versions. Which PU version are you using at the moment?

    Hi HafizAkhter,

Please try to refresh the data entity list from the framework parameters form. If this doesn't help, you can try to regenerate the field mappings for this entity.

Take a look at this link:

This error message is very general, can you please check error message in DMF execution log? And do we skip staging for this entity?

Did you try drop entity and republish in your BYOD configuration. Try this sequence Refresh entity> Drop entity> Publish entity
