Where to control Advanced Filter "Add table join" permission

Hello everyone, 
 
I'm trying to utilize the advanced filter to extract specific data, but the option to /+Add table join/ is currently inactive. Can anyone provide information on where to define the Role/Duty/Privilege to enable this feature on specific users?

    Hi James,
     
    Options for using this advanced query editor are part of the basic system user role. Is it still inactive when you select an actual table node, like Vendors? The selection is now on the main node where the buttons are disabled. You first need to select a particular table to be able to add another table join.

    Hi,
    The ability to add table joins in advanced filters is generally not directly controlled by specific roles, responsibilities, or permissions. You need to expand the selected table and click add table join.
