We are using outbound marekting to manage events. We do not work with a form or the portal for registration. What are the changes we need to consider when moving to real time? Are the events reletated entity the same?
The Events table in Real-Time is the same, but the form is different, and Customer Insights - Journeys will not allow you to create new events using the Outbound form with a start date that is later than the deprecation date in June.
Therefore it's important to ensure when creating events that could be ongoing past June that users are using the Real-Time form:
Any Emails, Segments or Journeys being used to market your Events should also be migrated across into Real-Time. You can find more information on how to do this without having to re-create them manually here. It would also be worth considering how you wish to approach Compliance with the deprecation of Outbound - more information can be found about that here.
For further information, a transition guidance overview can be found in the Microsoft documentation here and some helpful FAQs answered here.
