    Hi Sharlene,

Thanks for the clarification. I have moved your question to the Dynamics AX forum. You can't directly add a duty to a user. You have to create or update a role with a duty. Then you can assign the role to the user.

The link provided by Girish should help. In addition, you can use the security development tool in AX 2012 to maintain and check security roles. I have written some blog about this tool: Security Development Tool Archives - Dynamicspedia

In that case, when you follow the link shared by GirishS, did you get the desired result ?

    Hi Sharlene,

Is the question about AX 2012 or Dynamics 365 F&O?

Can you elaborate on your question? I'm not able to understand what you are asking here. Do you want to know how to add a duty to a role, how to assign a role to a user or which roles do have the duty you mentioned in your question?
