Error running workflow: "The maximum message size quota for incoming messages (128974848) has been exceeded."

We are using Dynamics 365 on premises (Version 2104 (9.1.4.31) (DB 9.1.4.31) on-premises). I have access to the DB and the web.config file, but I still cannot find this property in order to change the value. The full stack trace is below. Can someone please point me to the "appropriate binding element"?

    Hi Chris.

    Most off Dynamics 365 services get their configuration from registry.
    Looking at the stack trace I believe you should be able to increase this value by adding the following key type: REG_DWORD with name "SandboxWcfSdkListenerMaxReceivedMessageSize" under the following hive: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSCRM\
    You will need to repeat this on all servers hosting the Sandbox service in the deployment.

    Set appropriate value(use Base: decimal) on the key, to accept your message size(e.g. int32 max value just to see if it works) and restart the Sandbox service on all servers hosting it.
    I'm going to assume you know your way around in registry and of course you will have to evalute why your workflow exceeded 128MB message size in the first place and any impact this would have.

    Try that.
