Mouse Wheel going to insert a record

Hi guys, looking for a little help.

I've got 2 tables for my client data, and am able to display data from both using a form to table 1 and a subform to table 2.

Trouble is that the user can go into the subform's fields and use the mouse wheel to scroll off the current record and onto a blank line, as if it was inserting a new record.

Is there any way to prevent the mouse doing this on a field / subform?

Allow insert property will prevent users from inserting records into the form. Period. Not sure if you really want this to happen.

To prevent users from inserting, you should set the DelayedInsert property.

I agree InsertAllowed = no

should stop this behavior

Not sure if i am perhaps oversimplifying however will the "InsertAllowed" property on the sub form perhaps resolve the issue?

What are the primary key fields of subform table?

Did you set DelayedInsert property of subform to yes?
