MS Partner Consultant Dev License - how to create

I am trying to modify the Package Table so I can play around and see if I can add C/AL Global.  Can I generate a Dev License so I can open this package without restrictions?  As a MS Partner in Nav, am I able to create dev license? I looked all over and may not be looking at the right place.  Please help!

Oh so...MS will not give us a dev license we can play with to learn Nav? I thought I read somewhere where you can generate dev license to learn Nav and do demos.

To do the modifications or new development, you need to have a developer licence.  And to get this licence you need to be a Microsoft partner.

As Jonathan said please refer the given link for more info.

    Link : www.microsoft.com/.../erp-buy-nav-software.aspx

However if you want to play around with Dynamics NAV you can use the demo licence (No modification allowed).

    hi,

as tharanga writes, in general no modifications are allowed using the demo license except a few ones (table 18, pages 21, 22, etc.)

    look for demo license at:

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../dd568738(v=nav.70).aspx

    for license types:

    msdn.microsoft.com/.../jj551750(v=nav.70).aspx

As a partner, you can create a Dev license (for BRL like 2009 or for Perpetual license like 2015 or 2013).

You can do that from the new "PartnerSource Business Center" (formerly VOICE). You must go to "Developers Tools" menu, and select "License Key Configuration".

    businesscenter.mbs.microsoft.com

If you can't see that option, you may contact your VOICE administrator for grant you the permissions.

    Good luck!
