after upgrade to version 25 users are getting error messages from Notification Entry Dispatcher

The error is due to a missing email, and the error has been there for years, but its only after the upgrade users are getting notified, I can see with version 25 in assisted setup there is a option to activate job job queue notifications, but I haven't activated this

please help

Hope you are well.

BC V25 changed how notifications and job queue entries are handled - even though you haven't activated in Assisted SEtup, the upgrade may have introduced new default behaviors or settings that are now surfacing these errors.

Apologies if you've tried these already, here are some thoughts:

review job queue entries related to notification entry dispatcher and ensure they are configured right, and there aren't any missing or incorrect email addresses

verify the notification set up in BC to ensure all required email addresses are configured right and there aren't missing entries

update relevant records with the correct email addresses which may involve checking user set up, approval user set up, or other related configs

perform tests to ensure notifications are being sent correctly

If you would like, you can disable the notification in the My Notifications page -> Job Queue Failed Notification.

microsoft and updates, its like the windows updates, a never ending story. seems that microsoft does not invest enough in qa.

Check Assisted Setup → Job Queue Notifications and see if it's enabled.
