Error adding new users

CRM 2016 On Prem

All of a sudden there is an issue when adding new users into CRM, I'm starting to get this error message below.

However it only occurs with users who have recently been added to AD, I can add 'older' users.

I've checked the OUs in AD and they haven't changed and are still in the same layout, the newer users have been set up the same way as well.

    One possibility is if AD replication is not working between domain controllers. It could be that the users have been added on one domain controller, and they haven't synched to the domain controller that the CRM Server is connecting to. You can identify the domain controller that the CRM Server is connecting to by opening the command prompt, entering SET, and viewing the LOGONSERVER entry. You could then logon to that server, run the AD users and computers snap-in, and check if the users exist on that server.

    I think there may be more tools available to check AD replication, but that's more to do with AD than CRM

    Hello ,

    Make sure you are providing the correct  FullName (FirstName , LastName) .Ideally when you type FullName , UserName will automatically fill with DomainName\User .

    Thanks, by doing this I was able to find out that the DC CRM was talking to had a problem!
