Customer Email Addresses - Tracking Date Added - NAV 2009

Situation:

We are now collecting email addresses at the tills and they want a way to measure how effectively they do that.

i.e. If we did 900 invoices for the day, what percentage have email addresses.

There would be 2 separate areas involved I believe, 1 area would be the creation of a new customer in the system and if that customer has an email address added and 2, adding an email address collected that day to a customer that had already been created in the system.

Would anyone have any ideas on this?

Tracking "when" the email address field of a customer card is filled in with a correct email address.

Add a new field called Email Modified Date and populate that field on the validate of the email address or if you have change log enabled you can use that to track changes for that field.
