Hi,
After installating the security development tool on Dynamics AX 2012 R3 environment (MSI + SDT model import), the tool seems to be well installed but the labels file is empty (@SDT). Is there someone that can help me solving tht issue ? running the  AX in the language 'en-us'.......

    Hi,

Its not a good option but you can try to reinstall the client.

Please let me know it worked or not.

    Hi Vinay,

Reinstalling a client has nothing to do with missing labels from application objects. You can try to run a full CIL compile and restart the AOS machines. If this isn't working you have to verify if the label files are copied to the application directory. If so, you can try to delete user cache files on your local client. (*.auc, *.kti files)

    Hi Andre,

Your reply is verified solution but @Vinay already said he tried clearing cache and AOS restart(steps given in link provided earlier) so I thought reinstalling the AX client may help.

    Hi Udit,

Thanks for your opinion. I cannot see any test above where Vinay did actually cleared caches and/or restarted the AOS. If he only focused on the verified answer in the linked thread, he might have missed it...

@Vinay: Can you tell about all your attempts to solve this issue? What steps did you try or not?

@André Arnaud de Calavon..i tried the above all the process that @udit said..but non of them work

then atlast i download the security tool from the life cycle and after instaling it its works there is no xpo to import only run the tool and run the class below is the method that i follow

1- First Install Security Development Tools.

    2- Then Stop Ax Services.

3- Run command in powershell as an administrator right.

    (Install-AXModel -File "c:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft\Security Development Tool\SecurityDevelopmentTool.axmodel")

4- then start Ax services and open ax.

5- when opening its automatically show popUp menu, In PopUp menu select compile and Synchronize.

6- After completion of these step goto AOT and run class SysSecEntryPointManagerSetup ( Basically right click on these class and select open).

7- And finally Restart AOS services You will be found Security development Tools add in your System administrator > Security > Security Development Tools.
