Ex.. we have 3 legal entities.3 legal entities using different financial dimensions.How to consolidate the reports in d365.
Hi Finance,
There are different choices what to do with several dimensions. You can read about it in the documentation: Online financial consolidations - Finance | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Docs
What is it what you want to achieve yourself?
For reports, you can use management reporter (financial reports)
Define columns definition for each legal entity financial dimension by applying filter of legal entity and financial dimension .
And add one more column of calculation to add all from all legal entities to get consolidated balances.
Example :
Legal entity A had dimension D1 and D2
Legal entity B has dimension X and Y
Column definition will have 5 columns:
1. Legal Entity A - D1 (Apply filter of legal entity and financial dimension)
2. Legal Entity A - D2
3. Legal Entity B - X
4. Legal entity B - Y
5 - Total : Sum of first columns

What reports do you plan to consolidate (balance sheet/income statement/etc.)?
Can you also let us know if you just want to summarize the data or do some consolidation transactions to eliminate IC transactions and IC profits, etc.
