Is there a way to add a report to a model driven app in dynamics 365 ?

in dynamics 365 Customer engagement - in my app:

I can create a solution - and as one of the components in the solution is "reports"

So from the solution i can create a new report.... all good.

However - i cannot see a way to make the report available for others to use - or even for me to use. The only way that i can run the report again is to go back into the advanced settings - then the solution - then select the report and run it. This is not ideal

Is there a way to make a report available to other users in a model driven dynamics 365 App ?

Thanks

Greg

    Hi Greg,

You need to add the reports table to your app's sitemap.

Open the app you want to modify, then click on the app chooser (If you are in the sales hub app click on 'Sales' on the top bar. Then click on the ellipse (...) of the app you want to modify and select 'Open in App Designer'

When the app designer opens, click on 'Site Map'
Drag a subarea on the sitemap. In the example below I dragged it under 'Performance'

Click on the new subarea you just dragged on the site map, then in the 'entity' field, select 'report'.

Click 'Save' and then 'Publish' on the top right side of the screen.

Go back to the app and refresh your screen. Reports are now available in the UI

PLEASE MARK THIS AS VERIFIED IF HELPFUL
