I was wondering if there is a way to affect a resource's calendar when the worker connected to the said calendar registers absence such as time off, sick days, etc. in the D365FO - HR module? If the absence is registered, then the calendar connected to the worker is reflected upon the resource's calendar in the Production control module; restricting the resource's availability for production on the days registered. This way, if a worker has time off, it is not needed to register time of for the worker as well as adjusting the calendar connected to the resource.
I can see that, when you look at the worker, you can connect a calendar under "Employment". However, when i register time off it doesn't seem to affect this said calendar.
Please let me know if there is a way to reflect the absence registration in resource's calendar or if I need to have a developer look at an altered solution.
