Is there a limit to the amount of lines that can be imported in via the Journal Upload. I have a journal which is about 20,000 lines but it is rejecting it after about 4,000 lines.

Many thanks :)

    Hi Raj,
In the previous thread of the forum, it was mentioned that there is no limit to the number of journal lines, and more than 10,000 lines can be uploaded normally, so you need to check the data you upload and the way you upload the data, just as Andre said.
    some suggestions:
If you are using excel to upload, please check according to the upload steps of this link.
Dynamics 365 General Journal Excel Imports | Microsoft BizApps Finance & Controlling (dynamicsax-fico.com)
If you uploaded with Data Management Workspace, you can check it according to the steps in this article.
Importing General Journals in Dynamics 365 for Finance (linkedin.com)
In addition, please pay attention to these points mentioned in the article:
    • The value in the column is incorrectly formatted. Like account type = VEND instead of Vendor, or the date format is wrong yyyy/mm/dd.
    • Description column = journal name, not the description field in the journal.
    • Make sure the line numbering is correct.
    • In CSV, the amount should have a period instead of a comma.
    • Missing required fields.
Finally, you can check whether the 4000 rows of data are duplicated with the previously imported data.
    Best Regards,
    Hana

    Hi Raj,

Can you clarify what exact journal upload option you are using? Are you importing lines via data management, using the Excel add-in, Power automate or something different?
What is the exact behavior after about 4000 lines? Do you get an error?
