    Hi all,

    Yes.

In my view, If your version support Japanese language you can set it. If not, you need to customization service or setup a new legal entity.

After creating a new label file. We are going to create new labels with Japanese language. That is nothing but our translated japanese label file.

    Is it rite?

That's correct. However as I said earlier , we had to change some standard labels as well  because user requested those, in that scenario we translated some standard labels as well . Off course user provided translated labels which they want.

    hello Sukrut,

The label translation is only required for customs label only rite ? because the standard label is taken care by the system itself. Now need to worry.

    is it rite?

Regarding your original question , if you set Japanese language on any user , he/she should be able to see all the labels  throughout the application in Japanese language.

    HI Arpan ,

I had a experience of working with Japanese customer in the past. Japanese language is present in standard application however for your custom labels you have to ask for translation to your customer(Here trnaslation means , if you labeled your field in English equivalent Japanese label for that English word.)

From my experience standard  Japanese labels(Out of the box translations) are not liked by Japanese users in that scenario you have ask for a label they want and replace it.

About the language on AX forms, it's determined by each user's own settings.

All customer/vendor facing reports, such as sales confirmation, sales invoice, purchase order are always generated in customer/vendor language (which you can change in customer/vendor settings).

Time zone of the company is handled in the Legal entities form.

    Hello @rp@n,

I don't know if Japanese is among the standard languages provided. If it is not then you have to provide the translation.

    For your reports:

Once the Japanese language is available, all customers that have this language setup as their default language in the customer master record will get the reports in Japanese.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
