AX Time Zones

Hello,

We have HQ based in the USA, with 1 AOS load balanced in a cluster configuration. Since our initial rollout, and are planning to start operations in Asia and Europe.

I want to know that how you are handling the different region implementations with one server.

For example, 'today' is 10/20/2015 in the USA.  If the user login from China then how he get the china region time zone as he connected AX through RDP/citrix.

What about the AX takes time zones into account in forms and reports ?

Suggestions?  How are others handling the timezone problems inherent of international implementations of AX2012 R3 ?

    DateTime fields are stored in UTC and AX applies user's timezone (defined in options) when displaying data.

    As always, you can find more information in documentation, such as in Set a preferred time zone.

    You are using RDP you must ensure that the user local settings in RDP and AX user settings have correct regional settings, AX will handle time zone in a transparente way
