How to open a Card type Page in a new window from RTC menu

Hi All,

I have a Card type Page, which I would like to open from the menu in RTC in a new, standalone window instead of opening the page embedded into the RTC. The page is a special calculator page for shipment tour management and is self-made, so no list page is there to be displayed instead.

Is it possible to view our card page in a new window always? And if yes, how to set up or parameter the Page and/or the Menu, so that the Page would open up and would be editable and not displayed as a read-only, embedded list-like page.

Thank you in advance for your help,

Best regards,

Gyula Csiak

    Update:

When I want to open up a Worksheet-type Page and set it up in the MenuSuite in Departments as a Task Department-based Page, it opens up in a new Window.

But when I try to add this Worksheet or Card type Page without List Page to a Navigation Pane menu under RTC, it only displays these Pages as Lists, so read-only and embedded into RTC as an MDI-child page.

Any suggestions how I can set up these Pages to open up in a new Window automatically from the RTC Menu, which was created in RTC with Navigation Pane Designer, not in menuSuite designer from DevEnv.

    Thanks in advance,

    Best regards,

    Gyula

    Hi Gyula,

when adding pages from the Navigation Pane Designer (from the client), you can only select the pages that are created in the menu with Development Environment (Menu Suite). Then it will open in the new page if it's defined as Administration or Task in the Dev Environment. So the answer is no - you can't control whether the page opens in new window by customizing navigation pane, as it always depends on how it's setup in Dev Environment in Menu Suite.
