when is it used the account specified in the item groups - sales order - goods shipped ?
I mean which is the exact transaction that triggers the posting in this account?

The "goods shipped" is a feature for the Russian localization. You can read about it here: docs.microsoft.com/.../rus-goods-transit-postponed

Posting the sales order packing slip generates the voucher for the goods shipped transaction.
