While creating a new project ID I'm getting this error

Numbers could not be generated because a number sequence reference is missing. Ensure that all necessary number sequences are set up.

All the required number sequence and reference are in place still receiving this error!!

Did you try Generating Number sequence on the Org administration module?

Thanks for responding.

Yes I did that. after hitting the generate on the number sequence form in organisation. A pop comes up saying "

Cannot create a record in Number sequence Scope (NumberSequenceScope). Reference: 0. The record already exists.

"

It is also giving me an error "

"Company 7161 is already associated with a legal entity. Select a different company"

Let's get some background facts.

Are you working with a refreshed database ?

To clear the first error, let's try to reset the number sequences on the number sequence form. On the action pane. Click reset then regenerate the number sequence.

Is the number sequence error happening on 7161 entirely?

Yes this error is happening on 7161 entirely, and yes it is a newly setup Legal entity.

Go to Project management and accounting -> Project management and accounting parameters -> Number sequences

Then create a new record then call it. Go back to create a new project thereafter and let us know.

Hi Komi,

I re-created all the number sequences listed in the reference table ( Project management and accounting -> Project management and accounting parameters -> Number sequences).

Still receiving the error "Numbers could not be generated because a number sequence reference is missing. Ensure that all necessary number sequences are set up" while creating new project.

Getting this pop-up while generating the num seq PROJ_6

There seem to be a duplicate issue on the NumberSequenceTable.

Can you try to open the NumberSequenceTable Table using the table Table browser extension, let's see the record you have in there.
