There seems to be some kind of issue with the unit-amount decimal placeholders (of the general ledger setup) in Business Central. Does anyone know what could be causing this issue?
In the general ledger settings the default settings for the unit-amount decimal placeholders are as follows:
This means that for the unit prices a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 decimals are allowed. If we create an order with a unit price with 3 decimals everything works fine:
If we change the unit-amount amount decimal placeholders from 2:5 to 2:2 everything works fine as well:
If the unit price of our item has three decimals, we receive an (expected) error that it’s not an acceptable value:
However, we are unable to change the unit-price decimal placeholders back from 2:2 to 2:5 decimals.
After changing the unit-price decimal placeholders back to 2:5 :
We still receive the same error as above if our unit price contains more than 2 decimal placeholders:
Is there anything we have to do more after increasing the unit-price decimal placeholders? Our is this some kind of bug that needs to be resolved by Microsoft?
Thanks in advance,
Floris
