Hi, How to cancel page header repeating in every pages in Nav 2009?.

I have some labels and text fields defined in the Header part of the data item. I do not want this to be repeated if there is multiple pages.

How to set this?.

RE: Nav 2009 Page header repeating in every pages

    Hi Abdul,

There is no any function or properties to find out total page no. in nav 2009. It is completely logical in nav 2009. If above mentioned code is not helpful at your end (I dont know why) then you can take step to implement your logic to find out total page no. But I'm sure the code given by me is working correctly and easy to understand.

    Thanks

    Hi Experts,

Can you please help to confirm that there is no other option to get total page number in nav 2009 R1 classic report?. If there is a way, other than 2 mentioned above, please help me.

    Thank you

    Abdul.

Yes in classic reports you have generate report prior to actual printing to get the actual page no.

    There is no other way.

    Hi,

At my end total pages are 3 and last page shows "1 of 3". So check properly and if any issue then I think you can resolve it because now you have complete code and I have already explained logic of it.

    Thanks

RE: Nav 2009 Page header repeating in every pages

    Hi Niraj,

That was really helpful codes, thank you.

But, it prints the total pages with little difference. I have a customer table with 112 records in it. When we preview it using your report, page number shows as '1 of 27', but actual total pages are 28(its shown in the status bar of the Nav).

I got another one solution from web:

    dynamicsuser.net/.../8.aspx

here also, we may have to use two reports, first one counts the records and exports as html and then invokes the second report. This is not a better pratice, and here too the total page counts differs than the actual.

    Hi,Abdul

Actually I have tested this code on report made by customer table. So in this code "COUNT" contains total no. of records on the report. Actually the concept is find out the total no of records on a report and divided by the total no. of records on first page, if flag is 1. You can find out this objects through my OneDrive link https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=33F56D0132412DF2!116&authkey=!AP_DeK2dwPQVMmw&ithint=file%2crar

Now if any issue please inform me. I am conformed that your problem will resolved now. You can find it on my blog also. I will publish it today.

    Thanks
