The error says that your database is readonly, so first logical step is checking whether it's the case or not. Open the database in SQL Server Management Studio and check if Database Read-only property is set to False.

If it's all right, then I would review user permissions.

    Hi Yasir,

You need to check that DMF service user has write access to AX database. Recomended to have the same user as AOS service.

Also please check that DB is not in read only mode.

How exactly did you verify that the service can write to the database? I would everything was correct, you wouldn't get the error, so something must be wrong.

You may also spend  a few minutes giving us some context, such as whether your DMF service worked at some point (and what happened before it got broken) or it is a new installation, what account you use for the service and what permissions it has and so on. You can't expect us to know your situation without you writing it down.

Let me repeat a few questions:

What happened before it got broken?

What account do you use for the service and what permissions does it have?

Martin: The guy is a functional person with limited AX knowledge trying to do magic, and will not be able to provide the details you expect to be able to help him.

Yasir: please get a technical staff involved to answer the questions that were asked, since your reply has very less to do with what was asked. AX AOS service account, DIXF service account, SQL Server login credentials, SQL Server AX database Security credentials with associated Security roles in the DB.
