Changing the Person linked to user id

Dear D365 Community

I wrongly linked my user id (System/Users)  to a person/employee (HR/Worker/Employees)  that exists only in Company B.

I need help on changing the wrong person I linked.  I cannot find any function to edit this field.  Is there any solution to fix this using the front-end application?

As a result of this wrong linking, whenver I create a Purchase Requisition supposedly in Company A, the system would automatically switch to Company B and create  and save the PR there.

Please advise.

    Hello Pamela,

    Please open your user, select 'maintain version' and then delete the associate person.

    Of course, also do not forget to assign another - the correct - one :-)

    Hi Pam,

    When associated person is deleted on the 'maintain version' form, you will close the form. but then you will realize that person field is still grayed out.

    Trick is - REFRESH the form.

    Once refreshed, the person field will get blank.

    Now another employee can be selected here. Hope this trick helps.
