Hi,
If I change the designation of a worker, system saves and shows new entered designation. How can I view his last designation history. Does system maintain it anywhere

these are saved using two dates field names ValidFromDate and ValidToDate
Given that your all records live in a single table. The use of keyword validTimeState(FromDateTime, ToDateTime) just after the select keyword of select statement can bring yo old records.
no built in report for your request , but you can customize a new report , it is very easy for developer

your description of the problem has not been very impressive.
you can add table named as HCMEmployment in Excel add-in and it can give you all data which you need along with worker number and name
