Is there a way to have a test environment of D365 Marketing?

Our client uses D365 Marketing on a daily basis, and they have asked for our assistance with the transition. We want to avoid interrupting their work or causing any disruptions. Therefore, I was wondering if it’s possible to have a test environment for D365 Marketing. Has anyone gone through this type of transformation before, and if so, did you perform it directly on the production environment?

you can create a trial here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics-365/free-trial#:~:text=Start%20a%20Dynamics%20365%20free%20trial.%20Try%20a%20range%20of?msockid=2f6345ee628662d02c09514d632a6361

There you can test the transition. Especially when you want to train or test processes with your users, i suggest using a test or trial environment.

reating a sandbox environment in Dynamics 365 Marketing is a great way to test changes without affecting your production environment. Here are the steps to set up a sandbox environment:

Access the Admin Center:

Go to the Power Platform admin center and sign in with your Environment Admin or System Administrator credentials.

Create a New Environment:

In the left-hand menu, select Environments.

Click on + New to create a new environment.

Fill in the required details, such as the name and region for your new environment.

Under Type, select Sandbox.

Add a Database:

Ensure that the option to create a database for this environment is set to Yes.

In the Add database step, set Enable Dynamics 365 apps to Yes.

Testing and Validation:

Use this sandbox environment to test new features, customizations, and integrations without impacting your live data.
