Inbound ports are getting deactivated automatically

Inbound ports are getting stopped automatically. We are restarting the service to active all the ports.
After sometime all the ports are getting stopped again.
It is happening for 4-5 times in a day.
What should be the reason?

Are these (some of the) standard services or custom ones? Any errors logged in AX, Event Viewer, etc (if not try to enable Logging and see what you get)?

By stopped you mean they are not responding in the external apps you are trying to consume them, right? The AIF Inbound form shows them as Deactivated, or not?

    Hi,

Some of them are standard and maximum customs. I have checked exception logged and event viewer, nothing is showing there. AIF Inbound  form shows then as Deactivated.

Other than checking the above mentioned logs, in AX check System administration > Periodic > Services and AIF > Exceptions to see what kind of errors you have for the running ports.

If someone does a Full/Incremental CIL compile in an environment and a port is being used at that time, it can cause them to fail and even could crash the AX AOS. In this case the port would get a red cross in front of the name under Inbound ports, but that does not mean it is deactivated, it just failed and will start once you restart the AOS instance and if CIL is compiled before without any errors.

You may use the scripts to validate the ports' status for all AX AOS instances published on my blog:

You could also try this to see if you could capture additional information in the Eveng log and see when your ports are getting deactivated:
