Hello everyone,

I need some guidance/explanation on this.

I see for example in a newsletter I have sent out (different months) using OBM that the open rates are much higher (Say 70%).

I have sent the same newsletter using RTM in a different month and the channel open rate is 26%.

Am I missing something? Please help.

Your compliance profile in RTM might be too restrictive not fully capturing the opens.

Hi,

Are you sending the same customers for both tests?

For example: the first month is tested in OBM first and the second month in RTM.
Then, for customers who have already viewed the newsletter in the first month, it is unlikely that they will view the same newsletter when they receive it in the second month.

Therefore, there is a possibility of what you are describing.
