Subscription Center Opt-Out without unchecking the opted-in subscription lists

Hey,

I am facing the following scenario.

Contact receives a commercial marketing e-mail by a real-time customer journey, subsequently the contact clicks on the unsubscribe link within the e-mail and gets redirected to our unsubscribe from which is embedded on a external CMS. The subscription center reflects to opted-in subscription lists, in our scenario it is a newsletter subscription list (which is tickled after someone submits our newsletter form) and other subscription lists that reflect a opt-out reason.

My question is if it is possible to hide the tickled "Newsletter subscription list" and automatically uncheck it, so the user just has to click on the "unsubscribe" form submit button.

I tried it with the default value of the subscription list "unsubscribe" but I think due to how subscription centers work the default value will be overwritten with the actual membership of the subscription list. Since this subscription center is solely for the purpose of unsubscribing from that one specific newsletter without changing other preferences we wanted the contact to only click on the unsubscribe button without the need to uncheck a subscription list.

Best regards,

Mario

    Did you setup 'Compliance' (in Settings) so RealTime Marketing uses the subscription lists from Outbound Marketing?
    If not, then people wouldn't be unsubscribing from the email - as RealTime Marketing uses 'compliance' (and they would just opt out of the email).

    but from the sounds of what your trying to go - just click on button in email & they get unsubscribed;
    Does your external CMS do API calls to the Dataverse?
    So how about a page on the external CMS which just presents the user a page saying "you have been unsubscribed" - and then craft your own URL (to the CMS - not the subscription center) which includes the user email address, and then make an API call to the dataverse from the CMS & remove them from Subscription center?

    the email itself i don't believe could unsubscribe someone like what your wanting - but directing them to a page on the CMS (with your own crafted URL) & doing API call to Dataverse could then do it.
    *Obviously coding would be required for this (relative to what languages\frameworks) your CMS is.
