    Hi,

Find this number in Order No. field in the Sales Invoice header.

To accomplish this I created a configuration package.

    Added Table 112.

In Table > Fields only added field 111 (Pre-Assigned No.)

When you export this to Excel, you will have the Posted Sales Invoice in one Column and the Pre-Assigned No. in the other which you can easily search.

    Hi ShaunJL,

Do you see Pre-Assigned No. field on form?

If yes, focus cursor on the field and press Ctrl+F (Find dialog) then find the value. Otherwise, you can use Table Filter (Ctrl + F7) function.

If you have posted the invoice from Order Screen, You would find the pre-assigned number in Invoice > "Order No."  field

If you have posted the invoice from Invoice Screen, You would find the pre-assigned number in Invoice > "Pre-Assigned No."  field

    Hope this helps.

If you had not setup the same number of series for both pre-assigned no. and no., those will be totally different numbers. The posted invoice normally disappears (however you might make partial postings and have a situation that several invoice numbers will be posted from one invoice). You should try to search the posted invoices by additional analytics, such as dates, customer, amounts or description.

    Hey Shaun,

Whenever an invoice gets Posted(e.g Say Sales Invoice) the Invoice number gets updated in the Pre-Assigned number in the Posted Sales Invoice and the Original Invoice gets deleted, so I believe if you are trying to find in the Sales Invoice then it doesn't exist there any more.
