HI All,
we have a customer that we are doing the deployment of on D365FFO on-premises but not in the customer datacenter where we will be using his public domain, the customer refused to grant the wildcard certificate of his domain that we will use for the ERP , in this case which certificate shall we ask for ?
Thank you,
Hi, Mohammad
wildcard certificate is not mandatory for D365FFO On-Prem deployment.
You can use separate certificate for AX and Service Fabric.
For example, one certificate cover ax.d365ffo.onprem.contoso.com, another cover sf.d365ffo.onprem.contoso.com
or
you can use one certificate cover both like below
Subject: ax.d365ffo.onprem.contoso.com
Subject Alternative name: ax.d365ffo.onprem.contoso.com , sf.d365ffo.onprem.contoso.com
Thank you Luke, so i can ask for one certificate with the sf and ax DNS names, they should be of format pfx right ? and not .cer ?
correct, pfx format
Thanks a lot Luke.
