Error in migrating Released products records, where flushing principle is set to "Available on location"

Hello, 

I am new to D365 and part of a team that handles the migration of our legacy erp data to D365.  We are using DMF.  I have an import DMF package that I created to import Released products V2 records.  All records with flushing principle value of "Available on location" are failing and the error I am getting is Results: The Available on location flushing principle can only be selected for items enabled for advanced warehouse processes.   

In the released products v2 entity, which columns are connected to the above settings?  (ie. so that the item is enabled for advanced warehouse processes). 

FYI, for other items that loaded ok, I changed that item and updated its flushing principle from Finish to Available on location, saved it and I did not get an error.  Not sure why the error is only reported in DMF.

    In storage dimension group for of item check if is WMS enabled.

    You can manually reproduce that validation in item creation

    Thanks Nuno for the reply.

    The item has storage dimension group code of WMS and WMS is setup below.  

    When you say check if WMS is enabled, is that the option Use Warehouse management processes?

    Yes, is that option that controls that validation.

    Can, you make a simple test ?

    1. Create item without defining flushing principle.

    2. Confirm is WMS is the storage dimension group code

    3. Send Update to same item using DMF, to update flushing principle

    I did the following yesterday.

    1. Loaded an item with flushing principle of Finish.

    2. Then load it again using a value of "Available on location" and it worked.

    So, maybe there is a bug in the DMF process?

    It not a bug, but import order of fields .  Flushing principle is being imported before "Storage dimension group" value. You have a dependency of that field from "Storage dimension group"

    OK, can we change the order of columns in the DMF mapping portion?  Or the solution is really to load this in 2 steps process?

    it seems after all that MS has a fix for that limitation. 

    It was possible to overcome that order, but it would require 2 imports for the same product.

    If that fix is only available in 10.0.29 and you need to import it now, import products in 2 steps. The second step only with value of product number and flushing principle
