Problem with barcode printing NAV 2015

Hello everyone,

I am very new to Dynamic Nav and never heared of it before I started this job a few months ago. I managed to solve some of my problems myself but here is one which makes me wonder if there isn't a little Microsoft satan out their who mixes stuff up.

So the problem is this. Since a week or more one of my colleges has problems printing the barcodes with a label printer. It worked perfectly fine when I installed it the first time but since a few days it prints everything onto two labels where on the second label is only one of the 5 lines which fit perfect to the labels. The labelprinter is a dymo lw 330 and it is shared from another computer on which it works fine. Now he needs to click on print and then on preview, which annoyes him very much because he is accustomed to just click on print and choose the printer but now he mostly forgets about it out of habit so he wasts two labels every time it happens. As I said it worked perfectly fine a few days or a week ago but now it just won't work.

The settings for the label are correct and the settings are the exact same on the host and on the shared version. It won't work too on other computers but only for the host which is pretty strange.

Have I missed any setting to make? Is there a new update of which I have no idea? Why does it work fine when he prints from the preview but not without opening the preview?

I would be delighted to get some helping ideas to solve the problem I'm facing.

Kind regards,

Morheng S.

Perhaps, user set up the default quantity of copies? Check this: letstalknav.com/.../printing-multiple-copies-of-invoices-in-nav

Hm, no this didn't help and I don't think that it is as simple as this. It's more like the whole label is split on 2 diffrent labels as if someone would add a new line on top so it wouldn't fit properly on the label.

Is the printer driver only on the host device?

Wow this is from so far back I can't beleave anyone would reply to this. ^^'

Not that it's bad but I must admit that I never really managed to solve this issue and I guess we found some kind of work arround that worked or else I would have insisted on finding the solution. :/

Sorry if this answer disappoints you as well as it disappoints me :(
