
Hello:
Our users connect to GP either through VDI or Remote Desktop. Three users overseas say that, after they post a batch, account balances in the general ledger do not update right away. They have to either (a) log out of GP and log back in or (b) wait ten minutes. Afterward, the account balances update.
No other users, either overseas or stateside, have this issue. And, again, all users connect to GP the same way.
We decided to create new GP user IDs for these three users, to see if doing so would eliminate the problem. But, this did not work.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

I have the same question (0)John, I remember this being a problem in GP 10 and 11(2010), but not 12(2013 R2)
David Musgrave a few years ago said if you run financial reconcile it should fix those tables. The tables are supposed to update after posting an entry; so maybe the sproc is waiting for another process? (maybe)
Running a SQL trace while those users are posting might help with finding what is causing it, in addition to perhaps looking at the active processes on SQL at the time as well.
