Hi,
We have a Dynamics NAV customer for whom we are in the process of deciding whether to go with Kitting or not?
We understand that Kitting is specific to NA version of NAV however we wish to develop our add-on solution that is independent of country version. From the sources we came to know that Kitting is going to be made generic in future version of NAV but we don’t find any official document governing the same. Can someone let us know whether Kitting will be available as generic functionality in all country version of future NAV release? Is there any official document that says this?

Yes, next version of NAV will have Kitting functionality in world wide database. So all country will have it. You can read about NAV 2013 functionality in the pdf publishes on NAV 2013 readiness website.
