Attachments in emails (NOT a download link)

As the subject suggests, I'd like to be able to include a physical attachment in real-time (or outbound) email.

I do not just want to add a button/link for the recipient to download a file; I'd like them to have a permanent copy of that file in their email inbox.

Secondly, if I was able to extend it even further, and have a unique file per recipient (e.g. an invoice/receipt) then that would be useful.

Any thoughts on either of the above being achievable?

From what I understand it’s not possible. Maybe you could use power automate but that just feels unstable to be. There’s already enough variables in the email world to deal with. The button/link option would do the trick. You could have unique URLs added via personalization. You just would need a field created to facilitate it. So not perfect for what you asked for but you have options. People are used to attachments but that wouldn’t allow you to tracking email metrics though. More of a UX play. Hope my 2 cents helped!
