Purchase Requisition inquiry

Hi everyone,

I have created a Purchase requisition with Requisition purpose "Replenishment" and have it approved via workflow.  The Status is now "Approved" but when I checked the Release approved purchase requisitions it is not there.

Also, I have created a Purchase requisition with Requisition purpose "Consumption" and have it approved via workflow.  The Status is now "Approved", when I checked the Release approved purchase requisitions it is there.

Can anyone help me find where the Approved Purchase Requisitions for Replenishment is located?

Best regards,

Monch

    Hi Yohann and Kaled,

Appreciate both your inputs.  I really have no idea how replenishment works until you have explained it.

    Thank you!

    Hi Edmond.

Yes PO and PR (Replenishment) are in fact not connected.

My question is : what exactly do you need ? Why in the first place you have decided to flag in two ways your PO with the purpose field (Consumption/Replenishment) ?

There is some other fields in the PR header to flag them.

    Hello,

    1. Replenishment category access policy rule (form)  does not have to do with generating PO or no.

    2. Using Replenishment means that you want to add quantity to your stock/location which can be accomplished by transfer order, production, or PO that is determined in the Master planning module.

    3. If you dont use Master planning, why do you want to put the purpose of the PR as Replenishment?

    Thank you,

    Hi Yohann,

We do not want to use the Master planning as of this moment.  Is it the only way to proceed with my concern?

You mean I can never create a Purchase order from approved purchase requisition (replenishment) unless I linked it to master plan?

    Best regards,

    Edmond

    Hi Edmond,

Can you  see “Replenishment category access policy rule (form)” in the Application User Help in the Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 client.

    Hi,

Replenishement PR are linked to the Master Planning.

You need to run the master plan on a plan which include PR.

Then you will be able to find it in the planned orders.
