CRM Service Activities being deleted by..my user...

HI all,

I've been having issues recently whereby Service Activities in my Service Calendar would go missing. I raised this as an issue to our CRM Manager here in the company, and he raised a ticket with MS.

After investigation, they found the affected appointments to be deleted by my user. The answer to the question you are wondering is, no, I did not delete the appointments. Why would I, when it makes my job 10x harder and I end up with angry customers on the phone because I am late/been double booked?

Has anyone ever had issues like this? The CRM manager has taken away right for users to delete any service acitivites not created by themselves, and that seems to have stopped the issue for the most part. But more than anything I just want to prove that I wasn't trying to pull a fast one and get rid of all the appointments in my calendar (as the findings of MS do not reflect well on myself).

Any help would be appreciated.

Actually that is not easy to answer given that I don't know anything about the system or what type of customizations are done. Do you have weird plugins or some scheduled cleaning that is going on with a process that you own? Enable Audit on the entity being deleted and see if the deletion happens in regular intervals?

    Hello, thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, I am just an end user in a business that utilises CRM dynamics. I am no expert in the product itself. The only plug-in I am aware of is the one that links our CRM dynamics to Outlook to track emails and sync our calendars together. How would I enable auditing? Or is this something only an admin can do.

The problem may be originating from Outlook itself based on other people mentioning that.
