How to consume AIF on VM from other local pc?

Hi all,

I need solution, i have this requirement : integrate between AX 2012 R3 and Android mobile apps. The idea is for me to create AIF service and expose it so .Net developer can consume it on his .Net web API. After that he can use it with his Android apps. So i have my AX on my local pc (on VM), and his development areas in his local pc. My question is, how can this exposed AIF (on my VM) can be consumed from his local pc? Is this possible to achieve? If so, how?

    You want to be looking into exposing the Web Services on IIS. This explains how to do it: technet.microsoft.com/.../gg731848.aspx

    A small comment to the above solution: of course, the above is needed if the two machines are NOT on the same network (having local IPs and being able to speak directly between them in the same intranet netowork). If the later is tru, and they are on the smae network, your colleague can call directly the WCF web services using the local IP of you machine, just remember to open the necessary AOS ports.

    The dilema comes from the fact that you are using the work 'local pc' which normally mean they are both on the same network, but then you wouldn't be facing any major challenges.
