Production Order Not able to delete

Hi,

When i Tried to delete the Production Order , the error appeared as " Post the Pick list journal first"

Then i tried to delete the Picking list journal , again an error appears as follows

" Inventory dimension Configuration must be consistent within the lot, so it cannot be changed."

What could be the reason and how to solve

    Hi Sriram,

    I would suggest you can check the configuration in the picking list journal line trans and compare with the BOM line. are they the same?

    Hi Sriram,

    Please share the scrren shot of picking list journal with error.

    Can you also confirm there is no customization doneon picking list screen or with Lot ID format.

    I have already reset the status to created

    Still the error appears

    Hi Sriram GS,

    Can you try with Reset the production order to "Created" status

    (Update -> Reset status -> It will change the Production order status to created

    what is your current production order status?

    Hi Ludwig,

    Actually the  issue is the auto generation of Lot no for the item during the transaction. I tried to delete the Pick list journal line. but could not due the error as mentioned earlier

    Have you tried to complete the inventory dimension in the picking journal line first?

    I tried the same.

    When i tried to delete the Picking list journaal line, the error " Inventory dimension Configuration must be consistent within the lot, so it cannot be changed." appears

    Hi Sriram GS,

    Can you try opening the picking list journal and delete the lines first?

    Then try to delete the whole journal and finally the whole production order.
