Hi,
By default when you click on the name field it will open the record in same browser window.
To avoid this you can use right mouse click and select open in new tab OR ctrl + mouse click.

Hi,
You could create custom Text URL type field and put that field on the view. follow link below to create text hyperlink field.
now whenever you click this field value it should open an URL in new tab.
You can also customize Name field to change the format to URL from text.
