Please check with your team to confirm whether you already have a customization in place for extending the invoice number. If such a customization exists, I recommend evaluating it further with a developer by activating the feature in a UAT or DEV environment to investigate the issue.
If no customization exists, as Adis mentioned, you can simply activate the feature in UAT. Once it’s verified, you can proceed to enable it in production.
