Is there a way to enter a phone call activity in CRM and have it indicate a reminder to make it in Outlook?

You can try by following these steps as this should be helpful
For those times when you’d like to schedule a phone call for a future date, use the Create button at the top of your screen. You are then able to set a Due date and time for the call.
If you have Outlook synchronized this will then appear as a task in Outlook and a reminder will pop up appropriately.
You will need to search for the account or contact as this is not added automatically.
