Is it possible to store multiple items in a single license plate

Is it possible to store multiple items in to single License plate and re-use the same license plates in Dynamics AX 2012 R3 ? 

My scenario is :

I am using license plate as pallet.

I am purchasing,  item1 100 Qty from purchase Oder 1. I did the purchase receipt, put away. now item is stores in pallet 1, 'pallet 1' is considered as 'license plate'.

Now i am purchasing Item2 50 Qty from Purchase order 2. I would like to store this 50 qty of Item2 in to sale pallet, that is 'pallet 1' as there is enough space in that pallet to keep this item and item 2 belongs to same category/location profile as item 1. 

once pallet 1 is empty, i should be able to use pallet 1 for further transactions also. 

is there any way to achieve this in AX 2012. your answers/ suggestions will be appreciated.

    Hi Ganesh,

    Yes you can store multiple items into single License Plate as long they all belong to a pallet 1 which i conside as location. You might get an error when moving one of the items registered with the same LP to a pallet 2 lets say which is LP controlled location. Depends on your parameters at warehouse management.

    thanks for your response..!

    I am using 'pallet 1' as 'license plate', it is placed in location. When i receive the item i will place the item in a pallet ( License plate in WAX). I move this pallet along with this items to a dedicated location.  

    I know we have a functionality of mixed items against the Location. But unfortunately i cannot use license plate as Location.

    Hi Ganesh,

    You can move Item2 50 qty from Purchase order 2 into same 'pallet 1', if location allow you to store mixed item.

    While picking enter 'pallet 1' as target LP on RF device.

    Hi,

    Please check this. This will alow multiple POs or PO lines into the same LP.

    Mixed license plate receiving was added in Microsoft AX 2012 R3 CU11 and allows the warehouse employee to receive multiple different items from different purchase orders on the same license plate.
