Dear Community,

Is it possible to set more that 1 contact or account as regarding to track emails/appointments from Outlook?

I found I can only chose one contact or account when I want to track emails/appointments, what if the emails/appointments include more that 1 person?

Thanks

    Hi,

Regarding is a special field in CRM which is managed internally and you can’t customize it. You can only select one record in the regarding field of CRM.

To track appointments or emails in CRM you need to set up some rules in your outlook and need to enable folder level tracking feature of CRM. By doing this you can track all recipients of the email as well as appointment.

You can refer this blog to set up outlook rules and enable folder level tracking in CRM.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks!

    Hi Partner,

Unfortunately, it's impossible to set Regarding to more than one record.

However, you can add a new N:1 relationship between the email and Account/Contact entity then add the Account/Contact field to the email form.  This will allow you to use the Set Regarding for one Account/Contact and the Account/Contact field for the second Account/Contact thus allowing a relationship to two Accounts/Contacts.
