I have a GP on RDS setup for a while now. One thing the user has issue with is randomly the docattach/notes window (ie payable, the yellow notepad button), will come up black. Its random and not computer specific. Leaning on RDS side, the RDS is also not rebooted regularly... something that will need to be figure out.
So asking if anyone had notice or seen articles where the doc attach window would come up as black, some times you can close it and relaunch it, it'll be okay, some times it wont.
Could be redraw issue, or anything at this point. I'm guessing. Also adding, it is on doc attach window, no other window (so far) has this issue.

what's the version of your RDS / TS server on Windows ? I'd suspect that 'redraw' issues are more common on the newer Windows OS releases (2016 & up) as I recall that older server versions didn't have any problems. Most of the RDS GP client issues started back with Server 2012 when the new core code was released which got rid of the 3D effects of the windows.. The frustrating thing with those newere releases is that everything is 'flat' and borderless, and there is visually no difference between the frame of the windows and the background.. overlapping windows are confusing to move around, as their is no 'frame' to display on screen..
I wish Microsoft would have thought twice before removing the 3D effects, just because it was allowing to save some power on laptop or low-end graphic engines.. which no one cares on Servers.. At least sysadmins should have the ability to chose themselves what's right for the users..
